  6. TMan is a replacement for the Task Manager that originally ships with Windows 3.1.
  7.  
  8. TMan v1.10 features:
  9.  
  10.   - comprehensive access to all current tasks including priority settings
  11.  
  12.   - brief report of current time and available resources and memory
  13.  
  14.   - desktop management (includes a MINIMIZE ALL WINDOWS command)
  15.  
  16.   - a set of 10 fully customizable tools, accessible through a few keystrokes
  17.  
  18.   - a quick way to run a application or associated file
  19.  
  20.   - shortcut keystrokes for exiting or restarting windows
  21.  
  22.          To install TMan just use the setup program provided.
  23.   A remover is also provided in the event that you don't wish to use TMan.

  26.     This program is freeware. All that the author asks for is user feedback.

  28. This program is copyrighted and should not be altered in any way. You are free
  29. to distribute TMan as long as no fees are charged for distribution other than 
  30. the cost of the media used.

  51. 1.10: fixed a problem with displaying system menus on a grey background;
  52.       press 'A' for About box...

  54. 1.09: fixed a problem with disappearing window when switching to Borland's
  55.       Resource Workshop (the only app known to have this problem so far); also
  56.       added accelerators for QuickTools
  57.  
  58. 1.08: double-clicking close to the edges of the desktop will no longer cause
  59.       TMan to exceed the desktop margins
  60.  
  61. 1.07: press 'H' to toggle between displaying or not the hidden tasks
  62.  
  63. 1.06: improved on the way the system menus for each task are displayed; if task
  64.       is hidden or doesn't have a system menu then a disabled system menu icon
  65.       is displayed

  67. 1.05: SHIFT+CLICK on any task button brings up special task settings: priority,
  68.       visibility and positioning

  70. 1.04: now you can run and/or specify any file as a tool as long as it has an
  71.       associated application

  73. 1.03: CTRL+CLICK on any task button now closes that task; improved displaying of
  74.       DESKTOP and COLOR setting dialogs

  76. 1.02: now TMan pops up exactly where you doubleclick your mouse on the desktop
  77.       instead of in the center of the screen

  79. 1.01: fixed a lock-up problem with closing an application by doubleclicking the
  80.       system menu copies; fixed a problem that occured when switching to a task
  81.       that had an open dialog box; also added RUN MINIMIZED
